Crystal, our first homebred bitch, comes from 2 of our English imports, Chester & Clara. A well marked bitch with the most beautiful of large lusciously dark fully pigmented eyes, giving her a wonderful gentle expression, who by 5 months old had already gained Best Bitch & Reserve Best on Parade at the Cavalier Club show.
Under Breed Specialists from the UK Crystal was twice awarded BEST MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW and also BEST PUPPY BITCH IN SHOW at Championship speciality shows held in November 2005.
In January 2006, at just 10 months old, Crystal won BEST ON PARADE (All Breeds) and in April 2006 she was awarded BEST IN SHOW and BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW. She quickly went on to achieved her title before 14 months of age and had a number of Group and In Show wins. At the Cavalier Club championship show later that year Crystal gained 1st Junior Bitch from a large class under another UK breed specialist and was also Best of Breed at the NZ National Prelude Dog Show. Crystal has also gained sufficient CC's to quality for a BRONZE CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
In February 2009 Crystal produced a beautiful litter of puppies to NZ Ch Merseyport Carter Of Darilance (Imp Aust), five of which are out on the show scene. All five have had Group and In Show awards with Clifford (Rosser Reeves) & Cissie (Vera Krupp), the two being campaigned mainly, having attained their Championship titles.
The week prior to her 6th birthday in March 2011 Crystal produce her 2nd litter of lovely puppies, this time to Aust Ch Merseyport Poppycock Of Darilance (Imp Aust). We have a nicely marked boy and 2 lighter marked girls and are watching their development with anticipation of them also making it into the show ring.

Cissie (DOB 26 Feb 2009)
A well put together bitch who just oozes character with an exuberant 'look at me' attitude. Described as beautiful and compact Cissie is admired for her petite size and for being a snappy little mover. Named after the famous Krupp diamond Cissie really is a little gem with lovely head type and the sweetest of expressions. Shown lightly as a youngster Cissie amassed a number of 'In Show' awards.
At only 15mths old, and in a good entry of quality bitches, Cissie gained RESERVE BEST BITCH IN SHOW at the Cavalier Club's June 2010 Championship Show under an overseas breed specialist. At the Club's Open show in April 2011 Cissie won BEST BITCH IN SHOW.
A rare trip to New Zealand's South Island for the Otago/Southland Cavalier Championship show in June 2011 saw Cissie take RESERVE BEST BITCH IN SHOW under a UK breed specialist.

Catrice (DOB 14 Feb 2006)
Catrice is our second bitch to come from the Carolus Kennels in UK. She arrived with us in June 2006 at the age of 4 months. A prettily marked and sound little girl with good shape, she steps out and moves with style. Catrice is from Maibee Montrose (Cavalier Top Stud Dog UK for 2007 & 2008 and runner-up for both 2005 & 2006) and Carolus Patience.
Catrice started her show career off in August 2006 being awarded 2 x BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW on her first weekend outing. In 2009 Catrice was awarded BEST IN SHOW by a Breed Specialist having previously gained her Championship title by December 2007 taking numerous Junior of Group wins along the way.
During her show career in New Zealand Catrice gained many CC's and qualified for a BRONZE CERTIFICATE OF MERIT.
Catrice has produced one son and 2 lovely daughters who have gained CC's, Class In Group, Class In Show and Best On Parade wins. In June 2010 Catrice was sent to Australia to be campaigned to her dual Champions title, sadly she developed a uterine infection, was spayed and is now in retirement.

Clara (DOB 4 Jan 2003)
Our first imported bitch, Clara, came from the Carolus Kennels in the UK. We are very grateful to Chris Knight and her family for allowing this lovely bitch to come and live with us in New Zealand. Clara is from Am & Can Champion Craigowl Jarrow (Imp UK), UK top winning CKCS puppy of 2002, and Carolus Amaryllis (Junior Warrant).
Clara gained the title of New Zealand Champion in June 2004 at the age of 17 months. She has been consistently placed at Championship Shows under both All Breed and Specialist judges. Clara was declared RES BEST BITCH IN SHOW at the East Coast Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club show 2005 and in September 2006 she gained RES BEST BITCH IN SHOW at the Tiki Cavalier Club Championship Show under a UK breed specialist.
Clara has also gained RESERVE BEST IN SHOW and many Group and Class In Show wins, was awarded BEST JUNIOR IN GROUP at the NZKC National Dog Show 2004, BEST OF BREED in 2006 and BEST BITCH 2007. She also gained sufficient CC's to quality for a BRONZE CERTIFICATE OF MERIT. Clara is now enjoying retirement with the Stackpole family.

Chancine (DOB 16 Mar 2008)
Chancine, our singleton pup from 2008, had been shown only lightly as a youngster but had a good degree of success on her outings. She gained Reserve Best On Parade twice at the Cavalier Club Ribbon Shows and has also been awarded Best Puppy of Breed, 'In Group' awards and gained 3 RCC's.
Chancine is now occasionally being shown by her new owner Margaret Morse and was awarded BEST ON PARADE at the Cavalier Club Ribbon Show in March 2010 and BEST INTERMEDIATE ON PARADE at the Cavalier Xmas Parade 2010. After a year out from the ring Chancine again attended the Cavalier 2011 Xmas Parade where she was declared BEST BITCH and RESERVE BEST ON PARADE
